Description
The Twenty Mile River is actually twenty miles long and winds up a valley in Portage, near Portage Glacier. Rain continually fell during the day while plein air painting, until suddenly the skies cleared long enough to paint a watercolor. The fog hung in the mountain tops. This was a typical autumn day in Alaska.
