Description
The Palmer, Alaska hayflats are a low-lying area built up from glacier silt. The area dropped significantly during the 1964 devastating Alaska earthquake. It is now a refuge for wildlife and birds of all kinds, including migratory birds. The State Of Alaska has designated the area as a wildlife refuge. This impressionistic painting depicts my feelings about the area.

Thank you, Tali! I felt like I was there in real life, but it was all in my memories. I felt like I could make it look like I wanted it to be,
